Bangkok in Oberhausen

The food was delicious and the service actually quite friendly. Would have liked to have ordered a dessert and something to drink afterwards. Unfortunately, however, the bill was brought directly without asking whether we had anything else. A pity... Next time we're going to eat somewhere else.

The starters in particular are delicious (recommendation: number 9, a mix of different starters). Main course (No. 23) was unfortunately a bit too spicy, therefore only 4 stars.

Nice service. The food came very quickly. Sufficient and tasty. Here you stick to that 100% Hygiene concept.

We just sat in and looked forward to a nice evening since we are getting married tomorrow. Unfortunately we were ignored. Then we got up and went to another restaurant (elpaso) We were warmly welcomed there. The food was very good. Better than the arrogant Thai!

The food was delicious and the service very friendly. Each meal is shown in the menu with a level of spiciness, but you cannot get your order as spicy either. We didn't have to wait long for our order.

Very tasty Thai dishes, very friendly service. There is a small area where you can even dine sitting on the floor. Otherwise, especially in the large hall, you can eat very well in a pleasant atmosphere (sitting on chairs). If all tables are fully occupied, it may get a little louder there! Appetizer tip: cheese balls.

This Thai restaurant is like five min walk from Oberhausen main station. There were many empty tables upon our arrival around 20H00, but it's with quite many tables inside. The dishes were great, (only that the curry dish was with quite less curry sauce, and the duck was rather with a taste that's a bit too dried, but acceptable)and the interior decor was nice. We had a good time there enjoying the food and beer, though white beer is not available.

This is my favorite place to eat in Oberhausen. I have been here many times and never had a bad experience. The staff are very kind and friendly. The restaurant also offers a german and English menu. From Thai Curry’s to noodles to rise dishes there really is something for everyone. Portion size is perfect not too much and not too little. If an item on the menu says spicy expect it to be spicy. If you don’t like spicy food stay clear of them and if you like spicy food I couldn’t recommend them more. The drink selection is also a wide range of beers, cocktails and traditional Thai drinks and teas. I highly recommend people come to this place. The food is great, the staff are great and the atmosphere is great.
